Yes. We offer many art, dance, and acting classes for children as young as 5 years old. We will identify a class for young children in its description.

Yes. Some classes are designed for students of all ages and some classes are designed specifically for a parent to take with a child.

Yes. You can register for classes on this website by going to the "Register for Classes" page.

Yes you can. Click on "Click HERE to pay for your class online" in the lower right corner of the "Register for Classes" page. After filling out that page, please make sure the "State" box is filled in before you click on "Submit."
No. Full payment is due before you can participate in a class.

Yes. You can register for a class online or by sending us a registration form, but you won't be guaranteed a seat in the class until we receive payment. The small size of our classes may mean you won't be allowed to take a class even though you registered for it.

Our class size typically ranges from 4 students to 25 students. The class subject determines how many students are in the class.

Almost every class we offer will be taught unless an unforeseen event affects the school or teacher's ability to do so. Some of our classes do have a required minimum number of students and may be cancelled if we do not reach that minimum number of registrations.
At different times of the year we will offer "early bird" discounts for early registration. Also, we occasionally offer discount coupons for individual classes. If you plan to sign up and pay for multiple classes and are interested in a discount, please email swilson@asd20.org and ask for that consideration. Typically, multi-class discounts cannot be used by different people and cannot be combined with coupons or other offers.
We recommend you register and pay for a class as soon as possible to guarantee placement in the class. Also some classes have a minimum number of students and/or supply requirements and may be cancelled if that minimum isn't reached before the first day of class. For most classes you can sign up as late as the class start date. We'll have a registration table available on the first day of each class to sign up and pay.

Most of our classes are held at The Classical Academy East campus, 12201 Cross Peak View. We're located near the corner of Voyager Parkway and Highway 83, between New Life Church and Pikes Peak Community College.

If you cancel your paid registration before the first day of class, you will receive your payment back. For courses that cost more than $100 we will subtract a $15 registration fee. If you cancel on or after the first day of class you may not receive a full refund.
The ages listed for each class are guidelines to give you an idea of the level of material that is presented. If your child is close to one of the age limits, either too young or too old, please send us an email and we can advise you. Send your concern to swilson@asd20.org
A common error is not waiting for confirmation of payment when you submit it. Please wait for that confirmation before exiting the screen. Another common error is not ensuring the "State" box is filled in when you submit online payment. When you select "Country" it may blank out the "State" line. Before you submit it, make sure the "State" line isn't blank.
Most of our evening classes are intended for adults. Older children with an interest in the subject are also welcome. In the online class description we will identify the appropriate age for registration.

If Academy School District 20 is closed, we are closed. If bad weather forces cancellation of a class we will make effort to reschedule the class. Check our website schedule for the latest information.

Typically the online registration lists classes coming up in the next month. If you want to sign up well-ahead of time, email Scott Wilson at swilson@asd20.org . He'll be sure you are added to the registration list.

Our registration process asks for your email address. If you want to find out about future classes, cancelled classes, or changes, please provide your email address to us.

While we often have space in our classes, if you don't register ahead of time you may not have a seat if the class fills up. Also, some classes have a minimum to teach and we may cancel if we don't reach that minimum; if you don't register we may cancel the class you're interested in.

Our classes are open to everyone. While many of our students have a relationship to the Classical Academy, we encourage participation from all members of the community.
